As a key member of the engineering team, you will influence the design of naval and offshore vessels. You will perform technical assessments of designs to determine the optimal support solution for our customers. You will serve as the focal point for all matters regarding Integrated Logistics Support towards the customer as well as within the project team.
You are involved in the design stage of a new vessel or a vessel conversion project. Your activities include reliability engineering, maintainability engineering and maintenance planning. You identify life cycle issues as early as possible to optimize that design for maintainability and create RAMS analyses, life cycle sustainment plans, requirements for spare parts and Integrated Logistics Support Plans.
As Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all ILS elements during specification, design, production, deployment, maintenance and retirement. Delivering ILS products and services within time, budget and according to the relevant quality standards, will be one of your key responsibilities and activities. Think of Logistic Support Analysis Record System, Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM, Mainenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and leading and performing Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and modelling.
Besides, you will support and proactively coach the junior ILS engineers and assist in drafting and reviewing ILS proposals and in the development of ILS products, processes and methodologies.
